Quick Facts:

Habitat & Distribution: Australian native genus widely distributed across Australia, from coastal regions to inland areas. Grafted standard forms are selected cultivars chosen for improved flowering performance and adaptability to a range of garden conditions.

Growth Habits & Uses: Grafted onto a clear stem to create a compact, rounded canopy. Ideal as a feature tree in small gardens, courtyards, and landscape plantings. Excellent for adding height, colour, and habitat value without taking up excessive space. Suitable for pots, entry statements, and waterwise gardens.

Cultivation Notes: Prefers full sun to part shade in free-draining soils. Tolerates light frost and is drought tolerant once established. Apply a low phosphorus fertiliser suitable for Australian natives. Light pruning can be carried out to maintain shape and encourage dense growth. Some varieties may cause skin irritation—gloves are recommended when handling.
