Height: 6–12 metres

Rate of growth: Moderate to fast

Foliage: Narrow, glossy green adult leaves with a distinctive silvery sheen; bark is smooth, fluted, and metallic-green to coppery-bronze, giving the trunk a striking polished appearance.

Flowers: Small clusters of white to cream flowers appear from mid-summer to autumn, attracting birds, bees, and other pollinators.

Fruit: Woody, urn-shaped capsules typical of the Eucalyptus genus, following the flowering period.

 

Quick Facts:

Habitat & Distribution: Endemic to Western Australia, naturally found on saline flats and slopes throughout the Goldfields region. Tolerant of drought and moderate salinity.

Growth Habits & Uses: Graceful, upright tree with smooth, decorative bark and fine foliage. Excellent as a feature tree, windbreak, or habitat planting. Suitable for large gardens, parks, and streetscapes.

Cultivation Notes: Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Extremely hardy once established; tolerates poor soils and dry conditions. Water regularly during establishment, prune lightly if required to maintain form, and mulch to conserve moisture.
