Foliage: Dark green lance-shaped foliage forming a broad, upright canopy. Provides excellent habitat value and strong year-round native character.

Flowers: Creamy white flowers, typically appearing from spring into early summer. Flowers are nectar-rich and attractive to birds, bees and pollinators.

Fruit: Woody gumnuts typical of Eucalypts; not generally considered ornamental.

Habitat & Distribution: An iconic Western Australian native tree, strongly associated with the south-west of WA and the Jarrah forest ecosystem. Well adapted to local conditions where soil and site selection are appropriate.

Growth Habits & Uses: A strong, long-lived native tree suitable for larger landscapes, parks, revegetation, habitat planting, rural properties and significant native garden projects. Jarrah is valued for its environmental importance, shade, structure and connection to the Western Australian landscape.

Cultivation Notes: Best suited to full sun and well-drained soils. Avoid poorly drained or waterlogged sites. Once established, Jarrah is drought tolerant and resilient, but it benefits from careful establishment watering in the first few seasons. Allow generous space for long-term growth.
