Quick Facts:

A compact, wide-spreading crepe myrtle that works beautifully as a feature shrub, privacy screen, or trained as a small tree. ‘Canopy’ is loved for its dramatic dark foliage and standout burgundy-pink summer flowers, plus that classic crepe myrtle bark interest as it matures. Plant in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil; water well while establishing, then it’s generally drought tolerant once established. Prune in late winter for shape and density (or to maintain a neat hedge form). Like many crepe myrtles, it can be prone to powdery mildew in humid/shady conditions, good airflow and sun help.
